Sake Cabinet
A small-batch tansu-inspired cabinet for serving sake — hand-cut joinery, a machined hardware set, and a hand-rubbed finish.
2025
A tansu-inspired cabinet built to hold and serve a sake set. The carcass is hand-joined; the pulls and catch were machined in-house so the hardware reads as part of the piece rather than a catalog afterthought.
This is the kind of object that lives between disciplines — woodworking for the case, metal fabrication for the fittings, and a finishing routine borrowed from our ceramics bench.
